In The Latest Entertainment News For Upcoming Amazon Projects

The star-studded Los Angeles premiere of THE FIRE INSIDE took place on Wednesday, December 4, at the DGA Theater, drawing Hollywood heavyweights and sports icons alike. Attending the event were the film’s stars Ryan Destiny and Brian Tyree Henry, acclaimed director Rachel Morrison, and Academy Award-winning writer/producer Barry Jenkins. Joining them were the real-life inspirations for the story: two-time Olympic boxing gold medalist Claressa Shields and her coach, Jason Crutchfield.

The premiere welcomed an impressive lineup of additional guests, including Michael B. Jordan, Ayo Edebiri, Daniel Kaluuya, Chloe Bailey, Diana Nyad, Kiki Layne, Serena Paige, and Kordell Beckham, making the evening a true celebration of talent and inspiration.

THE FIRE INSIDE: The True Story of Boxing Legend Claressa Shields

THE FIRE INSIDE is the powerful and inspirational true story of Claressa Shields, widely regarded as the greatest female boxer of all time. Set in Flint, Michigan, the film follows Claressa as a determined high school junior who, with the relentless guidance of her tough-love coach, Jason Crutchfield, defies all odds to make history.
