In Honor Of A Belated Mother’s Day
Mother’s Day may just be a date on the map but we know their job is an endless one. Shante Robinson, a devoted mother of five, has been recognized for her commitment to the Atlanta community and named Comcast South’s Internet Essentials Ambassador of the Year.
Robinson began her career at Comcast more than two decades ago as a residential representative and worked her way up to the Comcast Business team while raising her family. The Internet Essentials Ambassador program recognizes individuals who are making a positive impact in their communities and is part of Comcast’s commitment to providing affordable Internet access to low-income families.
The Internet Essentials program is a key part of Comcast’s Project Up, a $1 billion investment to promote digital equity across America. Robinson’s contributions have helped advance this mission in communities across Atlanta. As we celebrate remarkable women and mothers like Robinson this Mother’s Day and beyond, we look to her for wisdom and inspiration.
“On Mother’s Day, I reflect, celebrate, and express gratitude for the women and mentors who have helped shape me into who I am today,” says Robinson. “Being a mom is one of the most challenging roles to have, but also one of the most rewarding. To model a positive environment for your children and inspire greatness, always be patient and understand that all children are unique.”
