Grammy-winning rapper Lil Baby teamed up with business owner Lemont Bradley to employ 100 people under 21 in the Atlanta metro area, according to CBS46.

“We are looking to give out 100 jobs to teenagers and young adults in the metro Atlanta area,” the two friends said.

They added, “With the crime rate surrounding scams, robbery, and even murder being so high, we are looking to provide a positive outlet and revenue stream to those who are looking for an income.”

Lil Baby, an Atlanta native, makes his coins through music, endorsements, and other projects. However, Bradley has one impressive business resume.

He is the owner of Auto Spa Bistro on 14th Street in Midtown, a hybrid consisting of a car wash and eatery in one. Big names like former Falcons player Julio Jones, producer Jermaine Dupri, and Shaquille O’Neal have all stopped by the establishment.

Clutch, Bradley’s latest venture, opened its doors to the public in early July. The restaurant has available positions such as bartenders, waiters, line cooks, dishwashers, bar backs, and theme promoters for hire.

“We are so excited about this initiative,” says both Lil Baby and Bradley. “Of course, we are looking forward to helping boost the city’s economy but we are really focused on lowering the city’s crime rate.”

Atlanta’s crime rate is up for the third straight year. From 2019 to 2020, it increased by 60 percent, per 11 Alive.

Shar Bates, a community activist, said that while she believes the “dynamics of Atlanta changed,” police and community connection are missing.

“I think that police need to find a way to work with the community organizations, the neighborhood associations, and the people that are actually advocates in those communities to find out what solutions are best for the areas,” she said.

Things may not change overnight, but Bradley and Lil Baby’s venture is now a solvent for keeping the youth and young adults empowered through employment.

On July 14, Lil Baby visited Gunna and Young Thug at the Fulton County Jail. TMZ caught up with the “Yes Indeed” lyricist to get an update on his YSL family.

“They doing great, they in good spirits,” he said.
