The Tuca & Bertie alum made another post demonstrating her own resilience past the matter saying,

“This is me happy to see how my God works. Some people said things to me, and God went ahead and showed me who they really are. Thank you for that God. I know you got big things for me to do and I can’t have user and fleas on me while I am completing [the] assignment you gave to me. I Love you, Father God.”

As previously reported by 360 Baseline, Haddish and Spears were accused back in August by 22-year-old Jane Doe and her younger brother for allegedly “grooming” the pair for sexual acts while they were minors.
Haddish initially released a response stating,
“I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now. … I look forward to sharing a lot more about this situation as soon as I can.”
In a turn of events, the unidentified woman retracted her claim saying that her family had a closer relationship with the actress and was willing to put the incident on ice,

“My family and I have known Tiffany Haddish for many years — and we now know that she would never harm my brother or me or help anyone else do anything that could harm us. We wish Tiffany the best and are glad that we can all put this behind us.”

Towards the end of September, the brother and sister duo reached a settlement outside of court. Since then, Haddish made her first red carpet appearance after the lawsuit was dismissed in October at ELLE’s Women in Hollywood ceremony in Los Angeles.
