Follow 360 Baseline for detailed coverage on all things New York Fashion Week. From pre-planning to show recaps, we’ve got you covered with the latest.

New York Fashion Week is coming jam-packed with a roster of over 109 designers presenting their Spring/Summer 2023 collection and with all the shows out there, it’s hard to decide which ones to attend. We’ve listed the top must-see shows of the season ranking from notable names like Bronx and Banco and Jason Wu to up-and-coming names such as Luna Selene.

Alice + Olivia

Date: September 10

Time: 5:00 p.m.

Location: Highline Stages

Invite Only

About: You can never go wrong with attending an Alice + Olivia show. Every NYFW showcase from this New York-based brand is a knockout and leaves you wanting more. Created by Stacey Bendet, Alice + Olivia is all about showing up as your best self for every occasion. From gowns to ready-to-wear looks, everything that you need to stand out and make a statement is created by this brand (safe to say we’re fans?). Besides, who wouldn’t want to see a show by a brand that is adored by the likes of Meghan Markle, Gwyneth Paltrow, and the queen herself, Beyoncé?

Bronx and Banco

Date: September 9

Time: 11 a.m.

Location: Pier 45

Invite Only

About: Led by creative director and founder Natalie De Banco, Bronx and Banco’s design is what we would call a whimsical aesthetic. Every collection makes you want to be and feel like, “that girl” and we expect nothing less from their Spring/Summer 2023 collection. The Australian label has been worn by the likes of, Lizzo, Hailey Seinfeld, and Ciara and is continuing to grow and become a household name. The theme this year is Burnt by the Sun so, we’re predicting a lot of earth-toned colors and silhouettes that accentuate features of the body.

Jason Wu

Date: September 10

Time: 2 p.m.

Location: Pier 17

Invite Only

About: A brand created with his namesake, 37-year-old Jason Wu has become a heavy hitter in the fashion industry and dressed the most influential women in the world including the Former First Lady, Michelle Obama. His looks are luxurious and sophisticated and emphasize the power of femininity. If you get an invite to this show, attend ASAP — that’s it. The show will speak for itself.

BruceGlen

Date: September 10

Time: 3:30 p.m.

Location: Tribeca 360

Invite Only

About: Created by identical twins Bruce and Glen Proctor, the duo started their fashion careers as interns for Beyoncé’s House of Dereon and went on to launch brands for celebrities such as Nicki Minaj and Trey Songz. In 2019, they moved on to start a brand with their namesake, BruceGlen. What originally started off as an accessories brand has now evolved into a full-fledged accessory and sustainable clothing collection. The BruceGlen aesthetic is vibrant with patterns, shapes, and bold colors. This will be the brothers’ second time on the NYFW official schedule and we don’t expect this to be their last. The theme is The Wild Wild West and we predict fringe, a play on denim and everything cowboy camp.

Luna Selene

Date: September 11

Time: 11 a.m.

Location: Sony Hall

Invite Only

About: Inspired by the sartorial aesthetic of the 1950s-60s, Luna Selene is all about bringing comfort back into heels. The designer, Shannon Slack is a firm believer in slow production, also known as “slow batch.” This means that every Luna Selene show is intentional and prepared in detail and only comes out every few seasons and while you might see the same shoe available for purchase, the fit, designer, and feel will be better than the last release. Designed in Pittsburg and handcrafted in Italy, Luna Selene is an upcoming shoe brand to pay attention to this year. This will be the brand’s first NYFW debut in partnership with Runway 7 Production.
